Ahmed Naja won the title of Lebanon's individual championship in classic chess for the year 2023, securing first place among 52 players of all categories and ages, repeating this achievement once more. The competition lasted 13 days after 9 thrilling and competitive rounds and was hosted by the "Checkmate" center in the area of Sin el Fil. Here are the full results:

A closing ceremony was held for the championship, where the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Olympic Committee and President of the Chess Federation, Joudat Shakir, distributed the trophies to the winners. The matches were officiated by international referee Elias Khairallah, assisted by international referee Eli Holouchian on the computer, and federation referees Osama Jouhar and Osama Hajazi, alongside national referees Rita Halabi and Khaled Abu Ta’am.
