Army Commander Presents Military Institution Difficulties to Qatari Defense Minister

Army Commander General Joseph Aoun met with Qatari Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, during his visit to Qatar. The meeting, attended by the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, Major General Pilot Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit, discussed ways to support the army in facing challenges and the importance of this support for maintaining the readiness of the military institution. General Aoun presented the difficulties faced by the military institution and its urgent needs in the context of its commitment to its national duty. Earlier, General Aoun had met with the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces to discuss the development of cooperation between the Qatari and Lebanese armies, particularly in the area of training.
