Government Media Office in Gaza: More Than 70 People Killed in the Last 24 Hours

The Government Media Office in Gaza announced today, Saturday, that Israel has "committed atrocities" in the city of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, and that more than 70 Palestinians have been killed in the last 24 hours due to Israeli shelling. The media office stated in a statement that "rescue teams continue to retrieve the bodies of the martyrs in Jabalia, northern Gaza." It pointed out that "the humanitarian situation in the northern Gaza Strip is worsening, with people exposed to the elements after shelter centers have been targeted; we are nearing a real famine in areas of northern Gaza, and residents are unable to find what sustains them." The media office considered that "any agreement that does not include the opening of all of the crossings to the Gaza Strip is incomplete and exacerbates the tragedy of the residents."
