Saudi Arabia Confirms: We Will Not Normalize Relations with Israel at the Expense of the Palestinians

The Saudi ambassador to Britain, Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan, affirmed that his country will not normalize relations with Israel at the expense of the Palestinian people. This statement was made during his participation in the sessions of the Royal Institute of International Affairs "Chatham House" conference in London, reiterating Saudi Arabia's longstanding position regarding the Palestinian issue. Riyadh consistently emphasizes its firm stance that there will be no diplomatic relations with Israel until it recognizes an independent Palestinian state along the borders of 1967 with East Jerusalem as its capital, in addition to stopping the Israeli attacks and withdrawing all Israeli military forces from Gaza. “We will not normalize ties [with Israel] at the expense of the Palestinians,” Prince Khalid bin Bandar Al Saud stated.
