Putin: Russia Relies on Its Weapons and Military Industries

Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed Russia's complete reliance on its weapons and military industries and its full success in achieving this, stating that "no one will extend their hand to give us weapons." During a meeting with a crowd of graduates from Russian military academies, Putin said, "In these circumstances, we can only rely on ourselves; we do not wait for anyone to extend their hand and give us weapons. We must do everything ourselves, and we have succeeded in that." Putin emphasized the importance of economic stability in the country and its role in maintaining and enhancing Russia's military capabilities, as well as the contribution of military industries and production to the economy.
