"Caught in the Act": Two Drug Dealers Arrested in Nabaa!

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces, Public Relations Division, issued a statement stating: "As part of the ongoing monitoring undertaken by the Information Branch of the Internal Security Forces to pursue drug dealers active in various Lebanese regions, information was received about two unidentified individuals promoting drugs in the Nabaa area and its neighboring regions on an unlicensed motorcycle." The statement continued, "As a result of extensive investigations and inquiries, the Information Branch identified them as H. H. (born in 1999, Syrian) and F. M. (born in 2001, Syrian)."

It noted that, "On 6-3-2023, after precise surveillance, one of the branch’s patrols was able to arrest them red-handed in the Nabaa area while they were promoting drugs on a stolen black 'Sewet' motorcycle." They were promoting drugs in several areas on a motorcycle, and the Information Branch apprehended them and seized a quantity of prohibited materials.

Upon searching them and the motorcycle, the following was confiscated: 29 envelopes of crack cocaine weighing approximately 54.6 grams, 26 envelopes of cocaine weighing approximately 35.2 grams, 16 envelopes of net cocaine weighing approximately 25.6 grams, a quantity of hashish, a pack of cigarette rolling paper, two mobile phones, and a sum of money.

During the interrogation, they admitted to the allegations regarding promoting drugs to several clients in Nabaa and the neighboring areas using the motorcycle that was seized from them. The motorcycle was impounded, and legal measures were taken against them, and they were transferred along with the confiscated items to the relevant authority based on judicial directions.
