Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, congratulated Professor Wasini Al-Araj today, Sunday, for winning the "Arab Geniuses" Award in the literature and arts category in recognition of his significant literary contributions. The "Arab Geniuses" Award for literature and arts for the year 2023 was granted to the novelist and professor of Arabic literature, Dr. Wasini Al-Araj, in appreciation of his contributions and works. His works have been translated into over 20 languages and studied at several universities around the world, with some adapted into plays and cinematic works. According to the agency, the "Arab Geniuses" Award for literature and arts is awarded to individuals who have produced a literary or artistic work that stimulates cultural, social, and intellectual progress, through enriching thought, inspiring society, evoking curiosity and emotions, and disseminating purposeful messages that contribute to raising societal awareness.
