The Saudi football team Al-Hilal, led by Serbian duo Sergej Milinković-Savić and Aleksandar Mitrović, defeated their rivals Al-Nasr with a score of 3-0 in an exciting match on Friday, in the climax of the fifteenth round of the Saudi league. This was the last match at King Fahd International Stadium, which will close for renovations until 2026 in preparation for hosting the 2027 AFC Asian Cup.

Milinković-Savić opened the scoring for Al-Hilal (64), before Mitrović added two more goals (89 and 90+2). With this victory, Al-Hilal moved to the top of the table with 41 points, while Al-Nasr remained stuck at 34 points in second place.

The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) disallowed a goal for Al-Nasr scored by Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo (75) due to offside. Al-Hilal received a red card for defender Ali Al-Bulaihi in the 90+4 minute.

Al-Hilal's president, Fahd bin Nafel, visited the players' dressing room to congratulate them on their comprehensive victory over their traditional rivals and retaining the league lead. A video circulated on social media showing the club president with the players, who requested a generous reward and kept chanting the number "100." According to the video, bin Nafel immediately responded to the request, indicating that a bonus of 100,000 Saudi Riyals would be given to each player, a fact later confirmed by Saudi media.
