Mohammed bin Zayed Begins State Visit to China on May 30

The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will begin a state visit to China on May 30, in response to an invitation from President Xi Jinping. During the visit, the Emirati president will discuss bilateral relations and cooperative paths in economic, developmental, cultural, and other fields, under the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the UAE and China, which contributes to enhancing development and sustainable prosperity in both countries. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed will also attend the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the UAE and China. He will also participate in the ministerial meeting of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum during the visit. The two presidents will discuss regional and international issues of mutual interest and the importance of cooperation between the two countries within the frameworks of joint international efforts to promote stability and peace in the world.
