The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) on Tuesday maintained its "relatively strong outlook for global oil demand growth for the entirety of 2024." The organization stated in its monthly report that it "expects global oil demand to increase by 2.25 million barrels per day this year." It also projected demand growth of 1.85 million barrels per day in 2025.
