Photographers often seek beauty in all its forms and dimensions. In this context, Indian photographer Iliyas Khan ventured into Wadi Shaab in the Sultanate of Oman to capture the beauty of lotus flowers. He was not alone; he was accompanied by Russian photographer Natalia Mikhailova. The duo documented a small boat sailing among the lotus flowers, which appeared like an otherworldly painting. They varied their angles of photography, capturing both close-up shots and aerial views.
Generally, lotus flowers can be found in various places like China, Japan, India, and Russia. However, they were uniquely remarkable in the Sultanate of Oman. The photographers stated in an interview with CNN in Arabic: "It is located in a beautiful valley, near the seaside." They added: "The lotus farms in Oman are among the most beautiful sites we have ever seen, yet they still remain undeservedly unknown."
