Title: Israeli Army Announces Death of 4 Captives in Gaza

Israeli army spokesperson Daniel Hagari announced on Monday evening the death of 4 captives in the Gaza Strip. The spokesperson stated that army representatives informed the families of Haim Bri, Yoram Metzger, Amiram Kober, and Nadav Poplovil—who were kidnapped into the Gaza Strip—that they are not alive and that their bodies are held by Hamas. Daniel Hagari mentioned that the decision to announce their deaths was based on intelligence information and was approved by a committee of experts from the Ministry of Health in cooperation with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Chief Rabbi of Israel. He stated that the circumstances of their deaths in Hamas custody are still under investigation by all relevant professional bodies and clarified that they will review the matter and present the findings first to the families of the victims and then to the public. Hagari noted that the army is working in various ways to gather information about the abducted individuals held in the Gaza Strip and continues to accompany their families, along with all security agencies, until their return home. According to Hebrew media reports, estimates suggest that the four were killed together several months ago while Israel was conducting military operations in Khan Younis.
