Boussab: The Only Solution is Through Diplomatic Means

Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Elias Boussab received the Chargé d'Affaires of the Australian Embassy, Amanda McGregor, accompanied by First Secretary Ben Griggs, in his office at the parliament today, Monday. They discussed the overall situation in the internal arena, including the presidential election file, as well as recent developments due to the war in Gaza and the recurring Israeli attacks on Lebanon. Boussab pointed out that "the idea of opening a front for war is extremely dangerous, and the only solution is through diplomatic means." He emphasized "the importance of continuing diplomatic efforts to reach a solution to stop the war, contain it, and transition to the phase following the ceasefire in Lebanon, including addressing the issue of resolving the disputes concerning the points that Lebanon insists on regarding the southern land borders."
