New Mechanism for Dialysis Patients

The Minister of Public Health in the caretaker government, Firas Abiad, presented during the regular meeting of the public guaranteeing bodies, the new mechanism being developed for the treatment of dialysis patients, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health, the Importers Syndicate, and the Hospitals Syndicate. He confirmed that "this new mechanism ensures the continuous provision of treatment for dialysis patients, without any interruption in medications and supplies designated for their treatment, and without imposing any additional costs on them." The meeting was attended by the Director of the National Social Security Fund, Mohamed Korki, the Director of the State Employees Cooperative, Yahya Khamis, the head of military health, Brigadier General Dani Bashrawi, a representative of the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces, Brigadier General Mohamed Dsouqi, a representative of the General Directorate of General Security, Colonel Joe Muzher, and representatives from companies importing dialysis supplies.
