Putin: Russia Needs to Resume Production of These Missiles

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the final outcome and competitiveness of Russia as a whole depend on the level of education and the utilization of scientific achievements. He congratulated graduates of the Reserve Personnel Management Program at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. Putin said, "The overall final outcome and competitiveness of the country depend on the level of education and the ability to use scientific achievements in practical activities." He added that science and education are gaining significant importance today. In a different context, Putin announced that Russia needs to resume the production of short- and medium-range missiles.
