Israeli Army spokesman Avichay Adraee released a video claiming it shows "the soldiers liberating Israeli captives in the Nusairat camp in the central Gaza Strip." The spokesman accompanied the video with the phrase: "This is how our brave soldiers rescued the Israeli captives from the heart of Nusairat in the depths of Gaza." He added: "The people of Israel are alive." The Israeli Army spokesman announced last Saturday the recovery of four Israeli hostages alive during an operation by his forces in the Nusairat camp in Gaza, who had been captives since Hamas launched "the Al-Aqsa Flood" on October 7.
