According to Opta statistics, the Norwegian ended a streak of five matches (543 minutes) without scoring in the Champions League, marking his first goal in the competition since April (against Bayern Munich).
As reported by BBC, at 23 years and 96 days old, Haaland became the youngest player to score 37 goals in the Champions League, surpassing the previous record held by Kylian Mbappe at 23 years and 295 days.
