Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi has emphasized that the nation remains undefeated and unyielding despite recent challenges, asserting that Iran has emerged stronger in its commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty and national interests.
In a post on the platform 'X', Gharibabadi stated that some parties believed they could break the Iranian people's resolve through pressure and military operations, but subsequent developments have, according to him, proven these assumptions wrong.
He added that the leaders and individuals Iran lost in recent confrontations have become part of the national memory, arguing that their sacrifices have enhanced the country's unity and reinforced the concept of independence and sovereignty among Iranians.
The Iranian official noted that what he described as assassination and targeting policies against Iranian leaders and scientists failed to achieve their goals. Instead, these actions have strengthened internal cohesion and bolstered national resolve.
Gharibabadi highlighted that Iran overcame numerous challenges over the past year, claiming that the outcomes demonstrated the nation's ability to withstand and continue defending its interests in the face of external pressures.
He further affirmed that the leaders, military personnel, and scientists lost during this period will remain alive in the Iranian consciousness, not just as a national memory, but also as symbols of the independence and sovereignty path that the Islamic Republic steadfastly holds.
These remarks come against the backdrop of rapid political and security developments in the region, alongside ongoing discussions and negotiations regarding the future of Iran's relations with several international powers, amid continuous Iranian assertions on maintaining its political and security principles.
