The Netherlands, the tournament champion in 1988, qualified for the quarterfinals of the UEFA European Championship hosted in Germany by defeating Romania 3-0 in a match held this evening at "Allianz Arena" in Munich. This was the seventh match in the knockout stage. Goals for the Netherlands were scored by Cody Gakpo and Donnyail Malen (2) in the 20th, 83rd, and 90th minutes.
