Israeli warplanes broke the sound barrier over Beirut and surrounding areas on Monday afternoon. This incident was accompanied by rumors of an airstrike being conducted near the southern suburbs of Beirut; however, upon investigation, it was found that a separate fire had broken out in an empty lot near the Furn El Chebbak area, which the civil defense was working to extinguish.
