The meeting of the prosecutors of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on digital security issues has commenced in the Kyrgyz capital, Bishkek. Representatives from the relevant authorities in digital security from Russia, Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and the SCO Secretariat are participating, along with a delegation from Azerbaijan, which holds observer status in the organization. During the opening of the meeting, the Prosecutor General of the Kyrgyz Republic, Maksat Asanaliev, pointed out that "the 2024 meeting is dedicated to an urgent topic: the experiences of the SCO member states in confronting new threats and ensuring human rights."
