The White House: We Do Not Believe Netanyahu is a War Criminal

The White House announced today, Thursday, that U.S. President Joe Biden will tell Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the need to reach a ceasefire "soon" in Gaza. The White House stated: "We do not believe Netanyahu is a war criminal." U.S. National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told reporters as the two sides meet to discuss developments in the war in Gaza: "We believe we can reach an agreement, but this will require, as always, some leadership, some compromise, and effort to achieve it. The president will reiterate to Netanyahu our need to reach that, and our need to reach it soon."
