Modi: Indian-Russian Relations Built on Trust

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced to the Indian community that his country will open two new consulates in the Russian cities of Kazan and Yekaterinburg, as part of efforts to strengthen economic and cultural relations with Russia. Prime Minister Modi stated, addressing the Indian community in Moscow on Tuesday, that "the relationship between his country and Russia is based on mutual trust and respect." Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed Modi late on Monday night and accompanied him on a tour of his residence outside Moscow before the official talks at the Kremlin.
