## Drug Seizure Worth Half a Million Dinars in Bahrain

The Bahraini Drug Enforcement Administration seized narcotic substances and pills valued at approximately half a million dinars. Four individuals involved in the smuggling and promotion of this shipment, weighing about 84 kilograms of narcotic materials and around 18,500 pills, were arrested. The administration stated that upon receiving information about the suspects, a specialized security team was formed to begin search and investigation operations, which led to identifying their identities and locations where the drugs were hidden. It was noted that the suspects were apprehended in the act of promoting the narcotic substances, and large sums of money in various currencies believed to be from sales proceeds were seized. The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Evidence indicated that the seized items were recorded, and necessary legal procedures were taken in preparation for referring the case to the public prosecutor.
