The military spokesperson for "Saraya Al-Quds," Abu Hamza, announced that "a number of enemy prisoners made actual and determined suicide attempts, due to the severe frustration they are experiencing because of their government's neglect of their cause. This is compounded by the differing treatment from security units in 'Saraya Al-Quds,' depriving them of certain privileges that were previously granted to them prior to the heinous Nusseirat crime carried out by the criminal Nazi enemy army, which involved the killing of hundreds of innocent Palestinians, along with the ongoing policy of torture against our prisoners in jails; and other unjust, arbitrary measures." He pointed out that "our decision in 'Saraya Al-Quds' to treat enemy prisoners the same as our prisoners inside the jails will remain in effect as long as the terror government continues its oppressive measures against our people and our prisoners, and a warning has been given to those who needed it."
