The Presidency of the "Amal" Movement indicated that "at the moment when the brutal Israeli aggression targeting the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip has entered nearly a month, violating all values, norms, and international treaties, killing children, women, and the elderly, destroying health, educational, and religious facilities, and centers of shelter, alongside an unprecedented siege cutting off water, medicine, and electricity in human history amidst international silence which can at least be described as conspiring and colluding to complete the last chapter of the infamous Balfour Declaration, which coincidentally aligns with its anniversary with what is happening in the Gaza Strip today, most recently the massacres perpetrated by the Israeli killing machine against women and children in the Jabalia camp, adding to the count of massacres that have exceeded 900. This clearly indicates the evident project of Zionism, supported internationally, aiming to implement the final step of the notorious promise to liquidate the Palestinian cause and erase the rights of the Palestinian people by establishing their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital."
The movement confirmed in a statement that "the leadership, masses, and fighters extend their salute and appreciation to the Palestinian people in Gaza and to the resistors there, who are writing epics of heroism and sacrifice in defense of the entire nation. At the same time, it calls upon the Arab and Islamic nations and the international community to take urgent and immediate action to stop the genocide and ethnic cleansing being inflicted on the Palestinian people in the Strip. The movement also urges international human rights organizations to treat the crimes committed in Gaza and their perpetrators as war criminals and bring them to justice."
The statement added: "While the movement reaffirms its alignment with the Palestinian people in their resistance and steadfastness, clinging to their land, which is fiercely defended with the bodies of their children and martyrs, it requires everyone to stand seriously and responsibly in support of the Palestinian cause, considering it the primary issue for Arabs and Muslims. Defending it is defending the honor of the nation and its national security."
The Presidency of the "Amal" Movement also stopped in its statement to address "the escalation of Israeli aggression towards the Lebanese border villages with occupied Palestine, and the use of the Israeli occupation forces in their aggression of internationally banned munitions, including white phosphorus against forests and agricultural areas. They confirmed Lebanon's legitimate right to defend its land and sovereignty by all available means in confronting the aggression, while at the same time calling on the Lebanese government, relevant ministries, and the "UNIFIL" force to take appropriate diplomatic and field measures to curb Israeli aggression. They also urged the government to secure all the necessities for the steadfastness of the villagers in their places of residence and in shelters."
