Dutch seismologist Frank Hogrebeits has warned of a devastating earthquake that could endanger thousands of lives in the Mediterranean, stating that his predictions are based on changes occurring in the area. He highlighted that there is a 50-60 percent chance of an earthquake measuring between 7 to 8 on the Richter scale in the coming days. Hogrebeits stated on Facebook that "this area is capable of producing significant seismic activity, as demonstrated in 365 AD when an earthquake measuring 8.6 triggered a tsunami that affected the entire Eastern Mediterranean basin." He added, "The alignment of planets and the moon, which includes the moon, Venus, Mars, and Neptune, could lead to greater seismic activity." He urged people to "be prepared... a stronger quake in the region is possible."
