Loans from the U.S. Embassy for Those Wishing to Leave Lebanon

The U.S. Embassy in Beirut announced that American citizens wishing to leave Lebanon can apply for a financial loan under the title "Return to Home." The embassy wrote in a post on the platform "X": "American citizens in need of assistance to return to the United States can apply for a return home loan." The embassy had previously advised its nationals in Lebanon to leave and asked those who are unable to do so to "prepare to take shelter in their locations for extended periods."
