Why Has "Hezbollah" Not Announced Any Operations Against Israel Recently?

Why Has

In the past forty-eight hours, "Hezbollah" has not announced any military operations against Israeli forces, nor has it responded to Israeli bombardments against Lebanese border towns. Until early Tuesday, the town of Khiam and the outskirts of Kfarshouba in southern Lebanon's eastern sector were subjected to Israeli artillery shelling, without any response from "Hezbollah". The town of Rab'Halal was heavily shelled, leading to power outages in several border towns in southern Lebanon.

This situation might have "pleased" residents of the settlements in northern Israel, bringing them a wave of optimism, especially with the visit of U.S. special envoy Amos Hochstein to the region. In response to this optimism, Israeli journalist Jacky Hugi said on his X platform account, "I regret to disappoint you: the decrease in "Hezbollah" operations from Lebanon is due to the Eid al-Adha holiday, not the trip of mediator Amos Hochstein."

In fact, it can be said that "this fragile calm on the southern Lebanon front is attributed to two reasons, one primary being the occasion of Eid al-Adha, and the other secondary, related to Hochstein's visit, which 'might' lead to a de-escalation along the Lebanese-Israeli border, a scenario that is largely unlikely."
