The Russian company Red Line has unveiled a military drone designed for "countering enemy drones." In a statement to the Russian news agency TASS, an expert from the company said: "The new Vogan-9SP drone is designed to counter enemy drones and can fly at a speed of 200 km/h. It is controlled by a small ground station and is directed towards the target using a laser system."
He added: "When the need arises to use the Vogan-9SP, it is launched from a tubular platform positioned at a 45-degree angle. The drone flies towards the target, and in the final moments, it is guided to get very close to the target, after which the operator gives the command remotely to detonate its warhead, destroying the enemy drone."
According to the available information, the "Vogan-9SP" is currently undergoing testing, and versions capable of flying at a speed of 250 km/h are being developed.
