The President of the Alawite Assembly for Studies and Research, Naba al-Hammami, announced today, Sunday, the participation of researchers from various countries, including the United States, in the Ghadir Conference, part of the celebrations for the Ghadir holiday which began last Friday and will continue until next Friday. Al-Hammami stated that "the Ghadir Scientific Conference will see participation from researchers from different countries, including Turkey, Iran, France, and the United States," noting that "the president of one of the universities in Washington will participate by delivering a speech or presenting research, thereby enhancing the scientific dimension of the conference."
The Alawite holy shrine has been organizing events since last Friday to celebrate the Ghadir holiday, continuing for a week until next Friday, as part of the 13th International Ghadir Conference. It is expected that 12 countries will participate in these events, during which the Ghadir flag will be raised in their respective countries. A dialogue forum will also be held with the participation of religious figures from all religions and sects, as well as a Qur'anic assembly featuring contributions from Oman and Lebanon, showcasing 30 archaeological manuscripts and the Qur'an attributed to Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
