Israeli Negotiating Delegation Returns from Cairo Due to Disputes with Netanyahu

The Israeli delegation led by Mossad chief David Barnea and Shin Bet head Ronen Bar has returned from Cairo after arriving today to hold talks regarding a hostage deal amidst disagreements with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The Israeli negotiating team arrived in Cairo on Saturday to discuss prisoner exchanges and a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip with Egyptian intelligence chief Abbas Kamel. Earlier, in response to Hebrew media reports about Netanyahu abandoning Israeli hostages in Gaza, the Prime Minister's office stated that "Netanyahu ordered the delegation to leave for Cairo on Saturday night or Sunday."
