An Italian media report stated on Wednesday that Inter Milan has submitted an official offer to acquire a defender from Barcelona during the current summer transfer window. Barcelona has only signed Dani Olmo this summer and currently needs to sell other players to finalize new deals. According to "Sky Sport Italia," Inter Milan has offered Barcelona €15 million for young Senegalese defender Mika Fay. The report also mentioned that Fay is not part of German coach Hans Flick's plans and is not qualified to play as a left-back. Barcelona announced the departure of American full-back Julian Araujo to Bournemouth on Tuesday.
