Biden's New Blunder: Meloni Leads the "Lost" President Back

Biden's New Blunder: Meloni Leads the

A second blunder by U.S. President Joe Biden occurred during his participation in the G7 summit in Italy. After greeting Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni "strangely" upon his arrival in Italy, she had to grab him from behind to guide him back after he strayed from the officials waiting to take pictures at the summit.

On Thursday, Meloni walked over and directed the "lost" President Biden after he had moved away from the G7 group. The president and other world leaders had gathered to watch parachutists descending during a display of the flags of allied nations—a demonstration of unity and military prowess. Some leaders were still applauding when Biden began to slowly walk away.

In that moment, Meloni turned and walked towards the president to guide him back for the shot that would show all the leaders together. Biden then rejoined the other leaders to take a picture with the parachutist.

Returning to the peculiar greeting, Biden (81 years old) was the last world leader to arrive in Southern Puglia, where the summit was held. When he climbed onto the stage, where Meloni was waiting for him, the two spoke for a few moments before Meloni pointed towards the G7 logo frame, which each attending leader signed with a mark.

As Biden prepared to step down from the platform, he raised his right arm alongside his head and saluted Meloni. This embarrassing moment for Biden among world leaders came just days after he stood frozen during a musical performance at the White House. The 81-year-old president remained still with his gaze fixed on the stage while singer Kirk Franklin performed his song "Love Theory" as attendees danced beside him.
