International media reports have indicated that Hezbollah has introduced new weapons into its battle against the Israeli army along the southern Lebanese border. The reports state that the party has established an arsenal consisting of over one million rockets of various types, enabling it to launch around 3,000 shells and rockets daily towards Israel. Hezbollah primarily relies on Kornet anti-tank missiles in its attacks.
**Intensification of Attacks**
Hezbollah has intensified its attacks against Israel in response to the assassinations targeting some of its military leaders, the most recent being the "assassination" of prominent military leader Talib Abdullah in a nighttime airstrike in southern Lebanon. On Thursday, Hezbollah carried out a precise missile and drone attack on military sites in northern Israel and the occupied Golan Heights. The party stated that it targeted with kamikaze drones the David Base, which is the command center for the northern region, the Mishar Base, which is the main intelligence center for the northern region responsible for assassinations, and the Katzaviyah Barracks, which serves as the command center for the 7th Armored Brigade of the 210th Golan Division.
Hezbollah confirmed it was able to hit all three targets accurately and simultaneously launched attacks with Katyusha and Falak 6 rockets on military barracks and locations. It revealed that the six sites targeted were the Zahrour batteries, Kela barracks, Yoef barracks, Katzaviyah base, Nafah base, and the Easht Brigade in Beit Hallel.
Fire exchanges between Hezbollah and Israel continue alongside the fighting in the Gaza Strip, marking the worst conflict across the southern border of Lebanon since 2006, raising concerns about the expansion of fighting in the region.
