Israeli warplanes violated the sound barrier twice on Wednesday evening over most of the southern towns and at low altitude over the Jezzine area. At around eight o'clock in the evening, the warplanes targeted the town of Aita al-Shab with two air-to-ground missiles, and later carried out strikes on the border town of Ramya and on the Wadi al-Asafir in the Hasbaya area. An Israeli airstrike also targeted the square of the town of Adaisseh.
Hezbollah issued the following statement on Wednesday afternoon: "In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and in solidarity with their valiant and honorable resistance, and in response to the aggression that hit the Baalbek region last night, the Islamic Resistance’s fighters on Wednesday, 10-7-2024, targeted the enemy's artillery positions in the Zaaura area in the occupied Golan Heights with dozens of Katyusha rockets." The party also announced in the evening that "in response to the enemy's attacks in Teir Harfa and Taybeh, we targeted buildings where enemy soldiers are stationed in the settlement of Shatula with appropriate weapons."
Additionally, "in response to the aggression and assassination carried out by the Israeli enemy in Saboura on the Damascus-Birut road," the party launched "an air raid with a swarm of kamikaze drones targeting the artillery regiment of the 210th Division at the Yarden Barracks, hitting the positions and accommodations of its officers and soldiers directly, causing casualties."
At 10:20 PM on the same day, Hezbollah targeted "a gathering of enemy Israeli soldiers between the locations of Ramtha and Samaka in the occupied Kafr Shouba hills with missile weapons, hitting it directly." Channel 12 in Israel reported the launch of approximately 30 rockets from Lebanon towards the Galilee Finger in the last strike this afternoon.
