"Al-Qassam Brigades" broadcast footage of their targeting an Israeli armored personnel carrier model "Tiger" in the city of Rafah with the "Red Arrow" anti-tank missile used for the second time. The video showed a fighter from "Al-Qassam," the military wing of Hamas, as he monitored a vehicle belonging to the Israeli army. He waited for a moment when several soldiers exited before targeting and hitting it successfully. The targeting of the "Tiger" resulted in a massive explosion, followed by the appearance of helicopters presumably to evacuate the dead and wounded from the area.
"Enjoy your sight! New: Destruction of a Tiger armored vehicle by Al-Qassam fighters in the Rafah Brigade. Ten months of fighting have only strengthened Al-Qassam youth's resolve and determination, enhancing their performance on all fronts! God is great, and all praise is due to Him," tweeted Baraa Nizar Rayan on August 1, 2024.
"Al-Qassam" also stated today, Thursday, via their Telegram channel, that they "also targeted an Israeli force holed up inside two buildings with several anti-personnel shells and engaged them with assault rifles in the vicinity of the college area in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood south of Gaza City."
