US-Iran Agreement Details Unveiled Ahead of Signing

US Vice President JD Vance announced that Iran will receive tangible benefits if it fulfills its obligations outlined in the memorandum of understanding signed with the United States. He confirmed that the upcoming phase will involve technical negotiations to resolve numerous outstanding issues between the two sides.

Vance noted in statements to "Fox News" that President Donald Trump may reveal more details of the agreement with Iran before the official signing scheduled for Friday.

He stated that the US administration is considering disclosing some of the terms of the understandings reached, while preparations continue for the technical negotiations pertaining to implementation and monitoring mechanisms.
Vance emphasized that Washington looks forward to opening a new chapter with Iran if it adheres to the commitments in the agreement. He mentioned that the US administration wants Iran to become a "normal country" dealing with the international community according to recognized rules, noting that the US military operation against Tehran achieved its goals and was "very successful."

He announced that the United States will revert to its previous options if Iran fails to meet its commitments or backslides on the promises it made during the negotiations.

On another note, Vance told CNN that the memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran is "very general," explaining that substantial details will be negotiated during the upcoming technical meetings.

He added that several complex issues will be resolved during these negotiations, referring to matters related to sanctions, nuclear commitments, verification, and implementation mechanisms.
