Standard & Poor's Reaffirms America's AA+ Credit Rating

On Friday, Standard & Poor's Global confirmed the United States' sovereign credit rating at (AA+), citing the robust economy which supports increased financial revenues.

The agency stated: "The broad recovery in revenues, including strong income from tariffs, is expected to help mitigate the risks of financial default."

Standard & Poor's Global indicated that the outlook for the U.S. credit rating remains stable.

In 2011, it was the first rating agency to downgrade the U.S. government's perfect credit rating.

The agency clarified that the stable outlook reflects its view of the resilient and diverse U.S. economy despite changes in domestic and international policies.
