Security Threats May Prevent Mojtaba Khamenei from Attending Father's Funeral

The Iranian leader's representative in India, Hakim Elahi, has announced the possibility that Mojtaba Khamenei may not attend the funeral of his father, Ali Khamenei, due to security reasons. Elahi mentioned that security agencies are restricting his movements to ensure his safety.

In a statement to the news outlet "India Today," Hakim Elahi cited continuous threats from Israeli forces targeting Iranian leadership as a potential reason for Khamenei's non-participation in the funeral services.

On Wednesday, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, at a press conference outlining future military capabilities concerning Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Gaza, and Turkey, revealed that he has instructed the military to prepare an independent attack plan against Iran.

Katz kept open the possibility of Israel engaging in a conflict with Iran "tomorrow," when asked about Mojtaba Khamenei, stating that he is "on the targeted kill list."
