In response to President Donald Trump's frequent assertions about ending the war with Iran, Hunter Biden, the son of former U.S. President Joe Biden, took a satirical jab at what he called Trump's 'repeated achievement.'
Hunter wrote in a post on his X account on Thursday night: 'I officially nominate Donald J. Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize... as no president in history has ended the same war this many times.'
He added that 'according to CNN's count, our dear leader has ended the war with Iran at least 38 times... no president has ever done this before.' He concluded with a phrase often used by Trump in his social media posts: 'It's a record-breaking accomplishment worthy of the Nobel Committee's attention... Thank you for considering this matter!'
Trump and his administration have repeatedly claimed that the war or confrontation with Iran has 'ended' or been contained, even as tensions and exchanges of strikes were renewed last week, and negotiations for a final agreement are still ongoing.
The American President has also repeatedly claimed to have ended 8 wars, sometimes increasing the number. He mentioned that among those conflicts he ended were the war in Gaza, between India and Pakistan, as well as in Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Armenia and Azerbaijan, in addition to Cambodia and Thailand, Serbia and Kosovo, and the dispute between Egypt and Ethiopia over the Renaissance Dam, despite most of these conflicts and tensions still continuing.
