U.S. President Donald Trump expressed his belief that the war with Iran will 'end very soon,' citing challenges faced by the U.S. armed forces related to the supply of certain types of weaponry.
Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump remarked about Iran, "I think it will end very soon. I don't think they can hold out much longer." Reports have surfaced indicating that the U.S. military has depleted a significant portion of its global stockpile of high-precision, long-range missiles during its six-month engagement with Iran.
When questioned about the status of ammunition stockpiles, Trump assured that the U.S. possesses an almost unlimited supply of certain weapon types. However, he acknowledged that the stockpile of other weapons is limited. Trump stated, "We have certain very powerful types of munitions for which we have unlimited or virtually unlimited supplies, and other types where the available quantities are less abundant." He added that American defense companies are working on establishing more production facilities, including dedicated sites for Patriot and Tomahawk missiles.
