Lebanese MP Ali Ammar, from the "Bloc of Loyalty to the Resistance," has called on high-ranking officials and state authorities to honestly assess the current phase and not shirk their responsibilities. He cautioned against seeking refuge with those believed to be protectors of the nation, emphasizing that neither the Americans nor the Israelis have Lebanon's best interests at heart. Ammar urged leaders to consult their conscience and dignity to find the necessary path during these times.
He argued that no position, rank, or stature within the nation holds value unless supported by the resistance and its weaponry. Ammar questioned whether the ongoing political hypocrisy within the country has not already provided the Israeli enemy opportunities to manipulate internal affairs and sow discord among the Lebanese people.
Ammar also warned Lebanese entities about U.S. policies, claiming they have never prioritized the dignity and sovereignty of people worldwide. He cited various historical episodes where such policies were enforced to subjugate populations and exploit their resources, including in Vietnam, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Yemen, Palestine, and Lebanon, amongst others.
He stressed that the "noble and pure weaponry of the resistance" only rose to confront the Zionist enemy after the state failed to protect its citizens, leaving its skies, land, and waters open to foreign incursions. Ammar assured that this weaponry has never been tarnished by internal conflicts but instead remained focused on confronting the Israeli adversary with its righteousness and purity.
