In a statement from Baalbek, MP Hussein Hajj Hassan addressed the current situation, acknowledging, "We are facing complex and pressing circumstances, and there are many questions from the people."
He proudly stated, "We are honored to be allies with Iran, a nation that has supported us and will continue to do so. We take pride in our reliance on Iran's strength and achievements. It is the allies of America who should be ashamed, as they view the world merely as bags of dollars, whereas Iran and we view each other through the lenses of principles, values, Islam, Christianity, and the prophets."
Touching upon Lebanese affairs, Hassan remarked, "Regardless of the outcomes, one might point out the occupied land, destroyed villages, and the wounded, martyrs, and captives. This is true, yet the real objective of the Americans and Israelis has always been to eradicate the resistance, in 2024 and again in 2026. The resistance thwarted this goal. We are committed to joining a larger equation, an equation led regionally by Iran. We will continue on our path and see where it takes us, just as you will continue on yours."
Hajj Hassan directed a message to the authorities, saying, "O miserable Lebanese authority, you have entangled yourself in a maze. Return to the people, return to Lebanon, return to national unity, and stop this fragmentation to find a way out of this predicament."
