Lebanese Ambassador to Malaysia Visits Army Commander to Discuss Bilateral Relations

Lebanon's Ambassador to Malaysia, Maher Kheir, accompanied by former Secretary-General of the Supreme Defense Council, Major General Mohamed Kheir, met with Army Commander General Rudolph Heikal in his office at the Ministry of National Defense. The discussion focused on several files and issues of mutual interest.

The meeting addressed the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Malaysia, exploring ways to enhance and develop these relations across various levels, particularly in political, diplomatic, security, and military fields. Emphasis was placed on the importance of expanding cooperation areas and exchanging expertise to benefit the mutual interests of both countries and their friendly peoples.

They also discussed the potential role of the Lebanese community in Malaysia in strengthening communication bridges between the two nations and highlighted the importance of activating economic, cultural, and developmental relations to create new avenues for joint cooperation.
