Amos issued an apology via email to his colleagues for the unfortunate mistake, stating, "I sincerely apologize to my colleagues in the House of Commons. The video feed was accidentally activated while I was changing after jogging." He added that this would not happen again and urged his parliamentary colleagues to be cautious near the computer camera and microphone.
