Governor of Jenin, Major General Akram Rajoub, confirmed that Israeli occupation forces directly fired at the headquarters of the Palestinian intelligence service located on Nazareth Street in Jenin, resulting in the martyrdom of three citizens, including two security officers, along with one wounded member of the Palestinian military intelligence early this morning. Rajoub added that Israeli special forces shot directly at one of the security guards, which led to a retaliatory response and outbreak of armed clashes, denying reports that circulated about Israeli threats to bomb the intelligence headquarters in Jenin.
Rajoub stated to Ma'an that witnesses and the Israeli side confirmed through the Palestinian liaison office the death of a third martyr, identified as Jamal Al-Amouri from the Jenin camp, and the injury of another person due to the fire from the Israeli occupation forces. Three young men were martyred, including a released prisoner, and another was critically injured by the fire of the occupation forces in the city of Jenin.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the martyrs are: Lieutenant Adham Yasser Tawfiq Aliwi (23 years old), Captain Taysir Mahmoud Othman Aissa (33 years old) from the military intelligence service, and the released prisoner Jamal Mahmoud Al-Amouri from the Jenin camp. Additionally, Mohamed Samer Munezel Al-Bazour (23 years old) from the intelligence service was critically wounded and transferred to the operating rooms at Jenin Government Hospital.
