Doogee has launched its rugged smartphone, the S97 Pro, equipped with a laser rangefinder. The Chinese company explained that its new smartphone eliminates the need for a measuring tape or other measuring devices, and the laser beam can also be used as a laser pointer during presentations.
The device features a standard battery capacity of 8500 mAh, which can be recharged at up to 33 watts with the option for 10-watt wireless charging. The battery life extends to two to three days with regular use and can last up to 26 days in standby mode.
The rugged smartphone has a 6.39-inch display with a resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 processor, with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and 128 GB of UFS internal storage.
The Chinese company promotes the phone's drop and shock resistance, adhering to MIL-STD-810G and IP68/IP69K protection standards. The selfie camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels, while a quad-camera setup is available on the rear; the main Samsung camera has a resolution of 48 megapixels, along with an ultra-wide-angle camera of 8 megapixels and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The new smartphone runs on Google Android 11.
