Security sources revealed new details regarding the incident of a scandalous photo of a young man and woman inside a car on the ring road, in an inappropriate position. Those responsible for publishing the photo were arrested after claiming it was taken from radar cameras of the Ministry of Interior.
The sources stated: "The relevant authorities and information investigations of the Ministry of Interior examined what was posted on Facebook and some websites regarding a photocopy of one of the traffic models, specifically Model 125, which included a scandalous image of a young man inside a car next to a girl in an inappropriate position. The websites and social media claimed that this photo was captured by the ring road radar."
The sources added: "Upon examination, it was possible to identify and apprehend those responsible for disseminating the photo by tracing the IP address of the computer that published these images. It was found that the individual was a student living in Sharqia, who initially attempted to deny involvement. However, when confronted, he confessed to his love for cars and admitted to following several car-related websites. He saw this photo on Facebook and reshared it on his personal page to increase engagement and boost his earnings from the page."
The sources continued: "The investigation also led to the second accused who shared the photo, identified as a party contractor residing in Cairo. Upon confrontation, he acknowledged sharing the photo after obtaining it while browsing some satirical pages on Facebook for the purpose of mockery, seeking attention, and gaining more followers due to the nature of his work. They deleted the photo after receiving negative reactions, and the prosecution is conducting the investigation."
