Meeting Between Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Iranian Foreign Minister on the Sidelines of Baghdad Conference

The Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, indicated that he met with the new Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, on the sidelines of the Baghdad Cooperation Conference. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid wrote on his official Twitter account: "I met today on the sidelines of the Baghdad Summit for Cooperation with the new Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian." He added: "I wish him success in his new duties in developing positive relations with neighboring countries and establishing ties based on the principles of wisdom and the interests of the peoples." He continued: "Our greetings always to the friendly and neighboring Iranian people."
